You are the most infamous fish in the sea. "Damn toadfish, ugly toad, oyster cracker, oyster catcher, bar dog," we say as we pry your jaws open to keep you from bending the hook. We call you trash and fling you back with a look of disgust on our faces.

For that we are sorry, for underneath your rough exterior lies the heart of a lethargic warrior. You have dedicated your life to oyster beds because you have long known their value to a healthy ecosystem. Hats off to The Toad™.
